The essay is going to discuss the reasonable advantages and disadvantages of using a vacuum cleaner, in order to exhaust the toxic air contaminants by means of placing the hose intake near the source of the overall contaminants. Based on the Occupational Health and Safety Act, it is important to mind over the use of toxic air contaminants as well as their utilization by means of managing safety for the human beings.
The advantages are those that allow people to “seize the air contaminant at the very source” and take it away from the place of work. The other advantage is that it allows choosing only “extremely toxic airborne chemicals”. At the same time, it makes it possible to “holder all kinds of air contaminants, comprising the dirt and different metallic vapors”. In addition, it needs lesser quantity of greasepaint air and hence less significant quantities of air are outworn. Finally, it requires less energy, which reduces the cost of the vacuum cleaner due to a lesser amount of greasepaint air is to warm or make cold. The disadvantages are those that people have to pay more for the “design, installation and equipment”. Simultaneously, such a vacuum cleaner also needs consistent “spring-cleaning, assessment and repairs” (Washington State Dept. of Labor & Industries, 2013).
In all, this is a matter of choice for everyone, in case the person is trying to make the house clean and can afford it to buy an expensive vacuum cleaner that will vapor the house, this would be a right decision. The opposite opinion of people usually results in even more expenses but for the health. In addition, in case one is willing to prevent such a situation in the future, it would still be important to buy a vacuum cleaner so as to exhaust the toxic air contaminants. In other words, “cheapest is the dearest”, people just have to think of what is more important to them (Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety, 2008).
